The Delcaration

Sometimes in the course of human events it becomes necessary for people to dissolve the political bands connecting them with one another, online or otherwise. Even if one is extremely busy with work, school and family, there comes a time when one must assume the equal status to which all of us are entitled by the laws of nature. With a healthy respect for the opinions of mankind, and a desire to declare the basis for all discussion on this site, please find hereinafter the beliefs that compel our separation from you, self-appointed wise men of the political world.

We future bureaucrats holds these truths to be self-evident: all people in all countries of the world are created equal; they are endowed at birth with certain rights; these rights include, but are not limited to, life, liberty, education, privacy, freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom from inhumane treatment, freedom from discrimination, and the pursuit of happiness.

We know that you have endeavored to deprive us of these rights. You refuse to implement policies beneficial to the common good; you ignore the needs of people outside your constituencies; you have concentrated power in the hands of the executive branch and ignored legislative actions with which you disagree; you endeavor to prevent the migration of peaceful people across our borders; you obstruct justice and ignore the legal process when its results are disagreeable to you; you have deprived us of the right to trial by jury; you have suspended habeas corpus; you have quartered armies among us to conduct wars of your own making; you have squandered our future and our sacred reputation.

We future bureaucrats have seen enough. We shall acquiesce to necessity. We shall prepare ourselves for the day when we assume responsibility for the common good. We, the new generation, shall make our voices heard.
